Wednesday began late, with many small dreams. Wednesday
needs a new password, and must catch up.
Wednesday is not finished…

* * *

Wednesday almost finished me, but I am still up. I did not leave the house today.

What day is it, really? What time is it, really?

Random lines from my bookshelf:

“A child cannot, thank Heaven, know how vast and how merciless is the nature of power, with what unbelievable cruelty people treat each other.” — James Baldwin, The Fire Next Time.

Unfortunately, this only refers to some children. Therefore, we cannot thank heaven.

Sorry, but I chose it at random.

It is very cold tonight. I worry about the neighbor’s dog, who is always kept outside. Animals make me sad. This is a result of living in the country.

Doesn’t Wednesday have something to do with woe? Wednesday’s child, no? And now — it’s not Wednesday. But what time is it, really?
