fingering the money
            it's all paper
folds, creased, torn, greasy

magic stuff. stuff of magic
  blessed with gold and muscle

and now just a word, iou
iou yah, loop de loop. oil and plastic,
then not: sleight of hand, baby

what you say
         it's what you say
         (and suddenly it occurs
to me that you can tag your posts
with ANYTHING!)

alright i dress and bathe for work,
proto-work, and meta-work

      tending to CAPS, commas, headers
vocab, APA AP MLA Chicago Manual
      and oh Garners (bow, grovel)
           the small sheep of detail

punctilious
punctuations
pneumatic pffft

and by 3 a.m. it is Monday, Monday

the beginning
of an old song

Random lines from my bookshelf:

"Purification, he contended, was the result of conduct, not
of birth, and was thus accessible to those of all four castes.
The Buddha even stripped the term "brahmin" of its hereditary
accretions, and hearkening back to its original connotation
of holy man, defined the true brahmin as the arahant"
